Alice In Wonderland fans rejoice! Alice In Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass has just started filming in the United Kingdom.

Many of the original cast members are set to come back for the sequel. Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter will be back, as well as Anne Hathaway's White Queen Mirana, Helena Bonham-Carter will also reprise her role as the Red Queen, Iracebeth. Of course, the titular character, Alice, who is played by Mia Wasikowska will return to continue her adventures in Underland.

The original Alice In Wonderland was released for just a short period of time, but it earned a staggering $ 1.02 billion in the worldwide box office. It even snagged Oscars at the 83rd Academy Awards for Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design, while it was a nominee for Best Visual Effects.

The press release for the movie promises that Alice In Wonderland: Through The Looking Glass will be "an all-new tale that travels back to Underland -- and back in Time.

This time the cast will be joined by Rhy Ifans (Notting Hill) who will be playing Zanik Hightopp, the Mad Hatter's father, and Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) who will be playing Time.

The star studded cast extends to the voice talents. Now, it has also been confirmed that Stephen Fry (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug), Alan Rickman (Harry Potter) Toby Jones (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), Michael Sheen (Twilight) and Timothy Spall (Harry Potter) are all returning to lend their voices to the colorful cast of characters that populate Lewis Carroll's beloved tale.

The movie is produced by Joe Roth, the same man behind Maleficent, and Jennifer and Suzanne Todd, who produced Christopher Nolan's Memento. Colleen Atwood, whose costumes for Alice In Wonderland won for her an Academy award, will be back for the sequel.

Alice In Wonderland: Through The Looking glass is going to be released on May 27, 2016
