Forbes Highest Paid Actresses 2014 list has been released, and "Gravity" star Sandra Bullock tops this year's tally, said a report from Forbes.

The award-winning actress led the Forbes Highest Paid Actresses 2014 list with an estimated $51 million in earnings between June 2013 and June 2014.

Aside from Sandra Bullock's feat, the movie "Gravity" also turned out to be one of the highest-grossing movies of 2013, as it brought in $716 million at the global box office. The 90-minute effects-heavy movie also earned ten nominations and seven wins at the last Academy Awards.

Forbes' second highest paid actress for 2014 was Jennifer Lawrence, who reportedly earned $34 million between June 2013 and June 2014. "The Hunger Games" lead star ranked 12th overall on Forbes Celebrity 100 list, which measures a mix of earnings and fame.

Third place for this year's Forbes Highest Paid Actresses 2014 was Jennifer Aniston with $31 million. The "Friends" alum is said to be choosy about her film projects, and being third on the Forbes list somewhat gives her the authority to do so. Jennifer Aniston is said to be more focused on smaller-budgeted comedies, like "We're The Millers" and "Horrible Bosses".

Gwyneth Paltrow finished fourth on the Forbes Highest Paid Actresses 2014 list, with an estimated $19 million in earnings. The actress also endorses Max Factor makeup and Hugo Boss.

Fifth place went to "Maleficent" actress Angelina Jolie, who was last year's top earning actress. The better half of Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt earned an estimated $18 million last year.

Also earning $18 million last year to tie with Angelina Jolie is "Sex Tape" actress Cameron Diaz.

The annual Forbes Highest Paid Actresses 2014 list is based on estimated earnings in the 12 months ending June 2014. It does not take into account the tax details, as well as fees for agents and publicists.

According to an analysis by Forbes, women are still earning less than men in Hollywood. Proof is how Forbes' ten top earning actors brought in a combined $419 million, while the top ten actresses brought in just a little over half of that at $226 million.
