Midfielder Mark Noble is looking forward to see the thrill return to West Ham United in 2014-2015 and a few more fresh faces brought in.
Last season, the athlete admits that it was testing for all concerned at Upton Park, with long periods spent looking over their shoulder.
An issue of demotion was then prevented, however, the club placed 13th.
There are doubts and criticisms passed on regarding the potential of the players and the club as a whole, but Sam Allardyce thinks otherwise and believes that there is a plenty of room for improvement and that they are positive that they will win over their supporters this season as West Ham United aims to get to the top 10.
The club had invested over the summer in order to turn their fortune around. Noble hopes that this good money that has been spent will help to lift the mood in the camp and improve their players.
"I only enjoyed about two months of last season. We were in the bottom three and then put a few results together," he said.
"From 10th downwards everyone was in a scrap and that's definitely where we want to be."
Although Enner Valencia and Aaron Cresswell have already been added to the ranks ahead of a Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur on August 16, Noble feels that more players could still be added in the club before the summer window closes on September 1.
"The boss will be doing his best to get another couple of players in so we can enjoy it this time," Noble added as they are making tedious preparations for the season. If they do not win any games, they will get relegated, and certainly, the team will not let that happen.
