Courteney Cox is married to rocker Johnny McDaid later this year, and the two are tying the knot medieval style.
It's confirmed: Courteney Cox is married to Johnny McDaid, or will be soon. The couple plans to share their vows like most couples want to, though, not in a beach destination or in a villa, but in an Irish castle. They're tying the knot TomKat style.
The couple will take the celebrations stateside after the wedding, throwing a bash when they come back to California. It turns out they really aren't going out of their way with the Irish destination, though.
The "Friends" star and Snow Patrol's band member made the engagement public in June, then sped off to McDaid's hometown in Northern Ireland to meet the family. It's but natural they scouted the castles there, considered potential venues for the ceremony.
According to a report from The Sun, Johnny and Courteney picked out Ashford Castle in County Galway as the place to state their vows. It's likely the formal ceremonies will be held there, to be followed up by a lavish reception in Los Angeles afterwards.
Courteney Cox is married to actor David Arquette prior to McDaid, who is 12 years her junior. The age difference didn't seem to be an issue for the couple. On the contrary, it looks like McDaid himself is eager to have Courteney properly introduced to friends and family.
According to The Sun's insider: "Johnny took Courteney to Ireland to meet his family and they fell in love with Ashford Castle. They want to get married at the end of the year and have a big bash in L.A. on a Malibu Beach at the end of the year."
It's practically two destination wedding venues for the couple when Courteney Cox is married to McDaid, with venues on opposite ends of the globe to boot (torontosun.com)
