James Franco has found himself in yet another absurd rumor, after he was romantically linked to Scott Haze.

The "Spring Breakers" actor previously confirmed that he is sharing an apartment with his "Child of God" co-star and this was picked up by various publications as a sign that he was literally living and in a relationship with Haze, according to Rumor Fix.

Gawker posted an article suggesting that Franco was gay and described his relationship with Haze as "so close that describing them merely as friends would be disservice," HNGN noted.

Following the release of the controversial article and in an attempt to poke fun on himself, Franco posted a message on Instagram and said, "GAWKER - always getting the cutting edge, homophobic scoop!!! Go see CHILD OF GOD in theaters and see me direct my live-in boyfriend, SCOTT HAZE!!! Love You SCOTT!!!!"

Throughout the past couple of years, Franco has addressed countless gay rumors and have called them all hilarious.

In an interview with The Advocate back in 2010, Franco explained, "Some people think I'm gay because I've played these gay roles. That's what people think, but it's not true. I'm not gay. But on another level, there's something in me that's able to play roles like that in a way that's convincing."

Franco also spoke with Entertainment Weekly back in 2011 where he dished, "There are lots of other reasons to be interested in gay characters than wanting myself to go out and have sex with guys. Part of what I'm interested in is how these people were living anti-normative lifestyles contended with opposition... Or, you know what, maybe I'm just gay."

Meanwhile, Franco recently teased his Instagram followers by posting a photo with singer Lana Del Rey, New York Post's Page Six reported.

Franco wrote, "Oh snap, we got married. JUST KIDDING!!!"
