A new survey among rookies proved that an aging Kobe Bryant is already a dinosaur as he is replaced by MVP Kevin Durant as a favorite player. Meanwhile, a video of his identical plays with Michael Jordan went viral on YouTube.

According to the latest poll by NBA.com, the 38 rookies surveyed for the article has named Oklahoma City superstar Kevin Durant as their favorite player, ahead of the aging Kobe Bryant.

The website asked the rookies the question: "Who is your favorite player in the league?

Last year, the aging Kobe Bryant got 21.2% of the votes but that number has dipped down to 19.4% among the members of the 2014 draft class.

Kevin Durant, meanwhile, got 25% of the votes. Lebron James, who left the Miami Heat to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, was at far third with 12.5% of the votes, followed by Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony with 8.3%, Indiana Pacers guard Paul George who tied with Kyrie Irving of the Cavs with 5.6%.

Meanwhile, a video of an aging Kobe Bryant showing identical plays with Michael Jordan has gone viral.

The YouTube video titled "Kobe Bryant vs Michael Jordan - Identical Plays: The Last Dance (Part III)" has since generated 2,568,863 in just three days after it was published on August 5, 2014.

Dan Devine of Yahoo Sports weighed in on Kobe Bryant's identical plays with Michael Jordan video:

"Yes, the similarities are remarkable. The immaculate footwork to create space and find openings, the form on the jumper (especially while turning and fading away), the physicalizations and mannerisms - they all clearly indicate that Bryant's not only picked up quite a bit from Jordan over the years, but also worked his tail off to get as close to perfecting those moves and motions as humanly possible," he wrote.
