"The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers revealed that Will's death, although devastating, will only make Alicia come back stronger, as Carrie Preston's Elsbeth is returning for two episodes, possibly more if the actress has her way.

Speaking to PopSugar, Carrie Preston dished out plenty of “The Good Wife” season 6 spoilers when she said that the death of Will (Josh Charles) will present a “great obstacle” for Alicia, but it will allow her character to grow more.

“I think it was a blessing in disguise. We all know higher stakes when watching the show, because we know emotionally what she's going through and what she's having to accept,” she said. “And now it's just going to make for stronger storylines. More interesting things for Julianna [Margulies] to play.”

Meanwhile, she revealed more “The Good Wife” season 6 spoilers as she said that she would love to be full time and appear in just two episodes.
“But they have many storylines to pay attention to, so I'm happy with whatever they want to give me. When they bring Elsbeth on, she has impact in the storylines and so I — in some ways — would prefer a few episodes with a lot of impact than just sort of peppered throughout,” she added.
“They haven't told me what going to happen, but I'm excited to see what they have in store for me. From treadmills to anti-Semitic bears to weird flirty things with Kyle MacLachlan, it's always something delicious,” Carrie Preston said.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly called Diane Lockhart’s (Christine Baranski) Emmy snub as ridiculous as she’s easily the best character in the show.
“After all, she had a lot to contend with: She was up for and lost a Supreme Court nomination. Her fourth years left to start a competing company. There’s a ‘Game of Thrones’-like power struggle threatening her future at the firm she created,” it said.
