Ellen DeGeneres & Portia De Rossi divorce rumors debunked. In the midst of the alleged tension in their marriage, the couple reportedly splurged for a swanky condominium unit in Beverly Hills. According to Radar Online, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi "are not living in a broken home" and a source told the publication that they bought a new one. Is this a hint for the two to build a family?
"Ellen and Portia just purchased an entire floor of a luxury building in Beverly Hills," a source confirms to Radar.
"It is very centrally located, right in the heart of everything that they do in Hollywood. They still have the land and the space they love in Santa Barbara, but this spot offers the convenience that they need," the source explained to the pub.
Radar Online reported that according to Trulia, there is a full service concierge, 24-hour staff, a fitness center and pool. Their unit also has amazing views.
Trulia noted that the couple purchased a property on January 3 in Los Angeles for $39,888,000 and sold it just 6 months later on July 3 for $49,500,000. They made a $10 million off the deal.
Could buying this posh place mean that the pair is ready to make a home? According to Hollywood Take, a report circulates online that the couple has contacted the Center for Surrogate Parenting in Encino, California to "research their options." The "Arrested Development" star allegedly made a video for her wife to convince her to have a child.
"Portia made a video montage of Ellen with kids she's interviewed over the years . . . It really choked Ellen up," the insider said. "Portia hugged her, whispering 'You'd be the best mother ever. She thinks a child will bond her and Ellen forever."
But reportedly, both Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres have repeatedly said they don't want children.
