See Dorky Taylor Swift In Braces! ‘Fearless’ Singer Brings The Nerd On With Jimmy Fallon Wednesday; Jeff Bridges Muses On Jamming With Her In ‘The Giver,’ Out On Theaters Friday

It's easy enough to imagine Taylor Swift in braces, but the "Red" singer actually wore them to audition in a show screening.

Seeing Taylor Swift in braces is staple fare for fans; she's been known to goof around whenever she wants to, and she's perfectly comfortable with it. She's even guested in Saturday Night Live and did a Shakira skit.

She'll be practically unrecognizable on Wednesday, though, when her alter-ego Natalie debuts on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. With her hair pulled back, wearing nerdy braces and glasses, she's in character as she records a video greeting for Fallon's character Sara.

Natalie speaks with teeth protruding and with a serious lisp problem: "Hey Sara, it's Natalie. Remember me? Our moms were best friends together in college. My mom said that we're gonna come visit you and your mom and your dad, and I heard that you have that television show called Ew!" (eonline.com)

The impression of Taylor Swift in braces won't last long, though. She's also set to play a role in the new movie "The Giver," about a small community in the wake of the apocalypse. Taylor shows off her music skills playing the piano in a scene.

"The Giver" contemplates a community where members have no free will, necessary for their survival in a post-apocalyptic world. They offer an exception to one person, though, called The Receiver, who has all of the freedoms people enjoyed before.

Swift co-stars with Jeff Bridges, and the latter says he enjoyed jamming with the "Fearless" singer during the film's production, especially off the set.

"She's something. Most of our scenes are on the piano. Between setups we broke out the gits [guitars]... We just jammed, it was wonderful. No, we just jammed. She's so sweet." (billboard.com)

Watch Taylor Swift in braces this Wednesday at Jimmy Fallon; "The Giver" release date is this Friday, August 15.
