"Scandal" season 4 will be premiering very soon, and fans just can't wait for more spoilers.
The new season which has been previously reported to be more "Olivia-centric" will start in a new time and location.
"We're in a very different space than we were when we were even three episodes toward the end. We're in a very different spot and everybody has been wiped clean, and anything goes, in a weird way," said series creator Shonda Rhimes to The Hollywood Reporter.
New season = new faces. It has been confirmed that rumored pregnant Portia de Rossi will be joining the cast next season, although no official confirmation has been made as to what role she will be playing.
De Rossi's partner, host Ellen DeGeneres, might be have been too excited about the news when she shared it on her Twitter account.
DeGeneres in her July 23 tweet said, "So annoying when people brag on twitter & that's why I'm not tweeting that Portia just signed on to do a top secret arc on 'Scandal'. Oops."
De Rossi has been made famous by her roles in "Ally McBeal" and "Arrested Development."
Aside from de Rossi, rumor has it that another female character will be added into the mix next season. "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow will reportedly have a permanent role in the series, as she has been on the show for several episodes in season 3. No further details have been shared about the speculation.
And with Colombus Short not returning next season, reports of a new "African-American" character coming to the show has surfaced. The character is said to be a lawyer in his 30s to 50s.
"Scandal" season 4 is set to premiere on September 25, 2014 on ABC.
