Emma Stone coming to Broadway?
According to Celebuzz.com, The Amazing Spider Man star could be Broadway-bound and currently in talks for the revival version of 'Cabaret'.
Entertainment Weekly said that the actress is currently in talks to make her Broadway debut. She will play Sally Bowles.
According to a source, Gwen of Spidey would follow the footsteps of Michelle Williams. William made her own Broadway debut as Sally as well. The charater is a showgirl at the Kit Kat Klub.
This production includes Alan Cumming (who first played the Emcee in London's West End in 1993), who will be expected to wrap in January 2015. While 33 old, Williams is scheduled to have her last show on Nov. 9, according to EW.
According to reports, Stone was had been associated with the production way back in 2013, when Roundabout announced bringing a replica of the 1998 Tony-winning production back to Broadway again.
However, there are speculations that film scheduling conflicts are the reasons why the 25 year-old actress stop to work on her Broadway debut. But now, Spidey's girl will begin her run in Cabaret on November 11.
Cast to be expected are Alan Cumming as the M.C.,Linda Emond as Fraulein Schneider and Danny Burstein as Herr Schultz. NYTimes said that The award winning prod opened in April and it is scheduled to run through Jan. 4.
