Watch a kangaroo fight back in the new Steve Carell movie for the whole family!

Disney released the first teaser for 'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day' at the Teens Choice Awards 2014 last Monday.

The new teaser, which was introduced by Bella Thorne, features the hilariously awful day Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) and his whole family are having in the Disney film. It also stars Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner as Alexander's parents.

Adapted from the 1972 award-winning children's book of the same name, Alexander experiences all the negative vibes in one day receiving little sympathy from his family. It starts off with gum stuck on his hair then he almost burns the whole school down.

Soon after, he learns that he's not alone in his misfortune. His parents and siblings also experience horrible days of their own.

Alexander's parents wake up late. Steve Carell meets his match in a riled up Kangaroo. Alexander's brother epically fails his driving test. Things get burned, accidentally eaten, and shattered all in one day.

Miguel Arteta (Cedar Rapids) is directing the film with newbie writer Rob Lieber working on the screenplay.

Along with the trailer, two new posters were also released for the Steve Carell movie. One portraying a normal-looking, happy Cooper family while the other shows them dishevelled and looking like they've just been through a hundred jungle adventures.

Disney also teased the new movie through its official Twitter page, posting, "Did you see @bellathorne present a new look at Disney's Alexander in the @TCAs_2014?" along with the hashtag #VeryBadDay and a link of the trailer.

Ed Oxenbould, Steve Carell, and Jennifer Garner are joined by Megan Mullally, Jennifer Coolidge, Dylan Minnette and Bella Thorne in the film.

Steve Carell's movie, 'Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day' will hit theaters this October 10.
