Fans who were devastated when Ygritte died in 'Game Of Thrones' will rejoice to know that Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are taking their onscreen romance to real life...again!
The pair was initially seen arriving together at LAX for the San Diego Comic Con in July. Despite their reported split last year, they looked very comfortable together (minus the PDA) as they strolled through the airport, smiling and laughing at each other.
Now, a source exclusively confirmed to US Weekly that the 'Game Of Thrones' stars are indeed back together!
"They've been back on for about three months," the source confirms. "That said, it's casual right now and they're having fun. They're not moving in together or anything like that yet."
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie were seen going on PDA-filled dates last year, despite Leslie's denial of the issue. She did, however, comment on the chemistry that she has with Harington. Their off-screen connection, apparently, helped a lot in playing out Jon Snow and Ygritte's onscreen love story.
"It's a wonderful perk when you're able to get on with your co-star, and Kit is a wonderful, wonderful man," she told the Daily Beast in the past. "He's very lovely, charming, sweet, and incredibly funny, so having that dialogue off-screen certainly pushes for the relationship they have on-screen. And if you're willing to trust the other person and allow them to play on-screen with the scene, it's a lovely attribute to have."
The couple reportedly ended their one-year romance last August. Following the report, Leslie started a relationship with a non-celebrity. She was eager to keep the new romance under wraps.
Harington, on the other hand, was linked to co-star Emilia Clarke, who plays the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryn in 'Game Of Thrones.' According to the Daily Mail, Harington had been trying to win Clarke's affections in April of this year and the Targaryn heir looked to be interested.
With this new development, however, it looks like the 27-year-old actors had both gotten over their respective love interests and decided to rekindle their romance instead.
Now that Ygritte has been written out of 'Game Of Thrones' (and out of Jon Snow's life), the former co-stars wouldn't be able to see each other as often as they did in the past. Will Kit Harington and Rose Leslie's relationship last this time?
