DC has recently released its movies list for the next few years until 2020. And like Marvel's movies list, majority of the projects remain unconfirmed and unnamed.
However, rumors are starting to spread that DC might take the route Marvel has taken in coming up with the 'Avengers.' News broke that the reason why 'Batman V Superman' was delayed was because it will be used to kick-start the "Justice League" movie.
According to NikkiFinke.com, the latest DC movie will feature cameo appearances from several notable DC superheroes. As her source puts it:
"Like Marvel's The Avengers, there will be cameos of superheroes for future installments. The cameos will include the already known Cyborg and Flash. Green Lantern [not played by Ryan Reynolds, thank god] may be introduced. And Aquaman will be seen in the Justice League movie."
"Problem is, Warner Bros Pictures was still negotiating with the actors for those cameos and future roles, meaning major contracts for multipleJL/character films to follow. The studio didn't want to move forward until they had more of this secure so they held off starting production for a few months. Seemingly simple reason, but the implications are pretty darn huge."
Rumors are also starting to circulate that a Flash and Green Lantern team-up movie is also in the works, as well as a "Wonder Woman" stand alone film and "Man of Steel 2." No additional information has been offered for these speculations as of the moment.
