"American Horror Story" season 4 spoilers revealed that some kind of "magic" will propel the story along as Patti LaBelle joins cast as Gabourney Sibide's mother.

Cast Sarah Paulson revealed "American Horror Story" season 4 spoilers during the recent San Diego Comic-Con that she's not wearing any prosthetic.

"There's mystery around what we're doing and we want it to stay that way," she said, according to ComicBookResources.

"Look, everyone in the room knows I don't have two heads. Some magic is going to happen to communicate this story, but how that's going to happen is done in a way that's never really been done before," she promised.

She said the "magic" is very complicated as 22 people are working together to establish her shots.

"How it will all come together, I do not know, but it's one of the hardest things I've ever done, having to switch between both girls without any time in between. ... I should call Sally Field to get some tips."

Meanwhile, TVLine teased more "American Horror Story" season 4 spoilers when it reported that musical legend Patti LaBelle will join the show as the mother of Gabourney Sibide's character. Patti LaBelle is the voice of such hits as "Lady Marmalade," "Stir It Up" and "New Attitude."

But this is not her foray into acting as she already has several films under her belt such as the 2010 "Mama, I Want To Sing," the 1984 "A Soldier's Story" and the 2006 "Idlewild: Music of the Outkast."

This time Patti LaBelle will not be showing off her vocal chops, but she's going to play a local who "begins to unravel the murderous secrets of Twisty the clown killer."

FX head honcho John Landgraf dished out more "American Horror Story" season 4 spoilers to Entertainment Weekly when he talked about the tone of the show.

"Some years it's going to be big and bright and brash and campy the way 'Coven' is," he said. "Other years it's going to be dark and brooding-like 'Asylum' was," he said.
