One of the most anticipated movies is the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck as the man of steel and the caped crusader respectively. The casting of the characters has been a source of contention for die-hard fans and purists, starting with Ben Affleck as Batman.

Most recently the critics are picking on Wonder Woman Gal Gadot. We remember Gal of course as part of the Fast & Furious franchise before being cast as Wonder Woman in this high profile movie.

Many fans are comparing the way Wonder Woman is in the comics with how Gal is physically. Wonder Woman is incredibly tall, very chiseled and muscular. The new Wonder Woman Gal Gadot, is stands 5'10" and is quite slender. She is much shorter than Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.

The latest one to offer her two cents worth on the whole issue is none other than The Expendables 3 star Ronda Rousey, who also happens to be an MMA contender. She has appeared on a talk show to reveal that she feels that she ought to have gotten the Wonder Woman part.

Rousey reportedly told the Tommy Toehold Show that of the big screen roles that she wanted to play, Wonder Woman is certainly one of them. "They're making Wonder Woman right now, aren't they? I should have been Wonder Woman. That girl couldn't curl a two-pound weight. What's so wonderful about that? I don't understand."

The MMA fighter turned actress did get an edge out of Gal Gadot however, because she is now starring in the upcoming Fast & Furious 7, while Gadot's character was killed off in the 6th installment of the franchise.

But for all the haters of Wonder Woman Gal Gadot, take heed. The actress has been working out furiously for the last couple of months to try to achieve the muscular physique that Wonder Woman is known for. She's posted photos of her progress o her Facebook account, and we think she is well on her way.
