Henry Cavill girlfriend Gina Carano's title bout with Ronda Rousey might have a little chance or possibility. According to MMA Weekly, the former "Strkeforce" champ may still be an option for Bellator but reports stated UFC president Dana White has said that "negotiations with her have grown complicated." According to Inside Fights, the UFC Pres. said "there's nothing new" referring to dealing with Carano.
While anticipated title bout with defending champion Ronday Rousey is still under challenging negotiations, Bleacher Report noted that UFC is right to try to "make this fight happen" for it will do "more good than harm."
Reportedly, the options for Rousey's next opponent for the women's bantamweight division are very slim since its top contender, Cat Zingano, is cracking a serious knee injury. According to Bleacher Report, interest for rematches among the four women that Rousey has defeated in Top Five is low.
Rousey publicly asserts that a bout with Carano is "something that she has wanted since the first time she laid eyes on the sport."
While Carano has not fought for almost five years, a match with her might be intriguing since she has proven herself as a solid fighter with her 7-1 run.
Carano faced tough veterans like Rosi Sexton, Kaitlin Young, Tonya Evinger and Julie Kedzie in the cage where she dominated. She only had a single loss to "Cyborg" Justino in August 2009.
Meanwhile, report says Cris "Cyborg" Justino wants to stick to her plan of dropping down to 135 pounds and eventually getting a shot at UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
According to MMA Weekly, "White has said that the door is not closed on Cyborg, but made it clear that she would have to conform to the UFC's weight classes, which means dropping down to 135 pounds, as that is the heaviest women's division in the promotion."
"Either you wanna come (into the UFC) and try to be the champ or you don't," he said of Cyborg recently.
