Channing Tatum's stripper movie, "Magic Mike 2," promises a more hilarious plot yet equally steamy performances from the cast.

"Magic Mike 2" is underway and it seems that almost everyone from the first movie will be coming back to reprise their stripper roles. Channing Tatum who is also co-writing "Magic Mike 2" will star in the sequel along with Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and possibly Matthew McConaughey.

"It's legit and it's happening - and it's happening pretty soon," Bomer said in his interview with USA Today.

"It's definitely physically demanding to go the other way, as well," he added.

The sequel is said to be focused on a road trip and a stripper convention. Shooting is said to begin this fall.

Tatum shared in his interview during Comic Con that "Magic Mike 2" will be very different from the first movie. Instead of the darker themes presented in the movie, more laughs and hilarious moments will be injected into the sequel.

Meanwhile, new reports claim that a particular regular in the "Step-Up" movie will be casted as Alex Pettyfer's replacement in Channing Tatum's stripper sequel. Adam Sevani who plays Moose in four "Step-Up" movies could be the next stripper protégé in the upcoming movie.

In an interview with Vulture, Sevani opened up about the possibility of joining the "Magic Mike 2" cast.

"Yeah sure!" he said. "I'd have to beef up and gain some muscle and that's no problem, but I haven't seen Magic Mike."

"Magic Mike 2" will hit theaters on July 3, 2015.
