According to the Sun, a sales assistant was there firsthand to witness the fashionable royal shopping by herself. She said, "Kate came in on Sunday on her own, just like anyone else, and browsed the sales racks. At first I didn't recognise her, I couldn't believe it was Kate. She was very friendly."

In the article by people, one shopper actually mustered the courage to engage the Duchess of Cambridge in some small talk. Afterwards, the woman took to Twitter to broadcast her once in a lifetime encounter with Kate Middleton.
