English Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore has reiterated that Luis Suarez is "accident waiting to happen."

The Uruguay striker has left Liverpool for Barcelona in a £75 million ($127 million, 95 million euro) right after his biting incident and FIFA ban during the World Cup. Scudamore added that he is relieved now that Suarez is out of the team.

IT can be remembered that Suarez bit a player from the opposing team during their games in the FIFA world Cup, Uruguay vs. Italy. Suarez appealed to the FIFA committee on his four month suspension but it was denied. But Barcelona is not deterred with the situation. Instead they pursued Suarez to sign up a five year contract worth $130 million.

According to him "He's great to have but an accident waiting to happen, and if you spend your time trying to promote what's good about the Premier League, you're always waiting for the next thing to come along."

But he does acknowledge the talent of Suarez being able to deliver during his games with team saying "He's a great player and I'm not taking anything away from his talents - he was voted by both his own players and the media last year the player of the year and deservedly so"

Scudamore stressed how the incident had tarnished the reputation of the team even though it was just down by Suarez. ""And this one in the summer, although it was with Uruguay, although it didn't directly involve the Premier League, clearly it reflected on Liverpool as one of our great clubs and it reflected on us."

He said that they were ready to let him go and that moving Suarez to another team was good business. He said "He's done his time here, but I can't say I'm sorry to see him go. I think it was good business on a number of levels from Liverpool to move Suarez on."

Suarez has already appealed to the world sport's highest court, Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in order to appeal his case regarding the his FAFA Ban. He went to the court requesting to lower his four month ban for biting an opponent and he has been supported by the World Players Union.
