The Expendables 4 cast could be the biggest and most diverse crew yet!
In a November 2013 interview, Randy Couture confirmed that filming for the Expendables 3 had finished, and that discussions for a fourth Expendables film were taking place and now it seems like the Expendables 4 has been confirmed and the production team is now looking for more stars to add to the movie.
Fans have clamored for Jackie Chan to be in the Expendables 4 cast but while nothing is confirmed, Sylvester Stallone has been on record saying that he wants Jackie Chan to be on the Expendables 4 cast.
Nuke The Fridge has reported that when a reporter asked Stallone if he planned on continuing to add Asian actors to the cast in future Expendables sequels. Sylvester Stallone replied by saying “YES!” and that he really wanted Jackie Chan to be a part of the third film’s cast, but unfortunately, Chan’s schedule was so booked that he did not have as few as three days open in his schedule to do any filming. Stallone added that he will try his best to have him on board for the Expendables 4.
But the good news is Jackie Chan has also expressed his interest in joining the Expendables cast as you can see in the video below:
Who else could join the Expendables 4 cast? How about The Rock?
The Rock has expressed his desire to join the Expendables 4 cast as he revealed on his Reddit AmA (Ask me Anything)
He previously said in a Reddit Ask Me Anything chat: "I don't want to be on their team and be buddies with them. I want to hunt every single one of them down..."
And in a report by The Independent, Stallone said: " The Rock would be fantastic. I think he would be more of a guest villain or he would have his own group like Arnold (Schwarzenegger) - Arnold's like a competitor mercenary."
And of course Jean Claude Van Damme would probably return to the Expendables 4 cast as Empire Online has quoted Van Damme saying:
"Mr. Stallone is an inventive man. He may even create a stronger character than Claude Vilain, the twin brother of Jean Vilain. Some fans ask me if the next Vilain - if there is a next - is going to be a good guy or a bad guy. I would leave it to Mr. Stallone to decide, as I trust his way of imagination."
In a report by Enstarz, Slyvester Stallone teased names like Robert De Niro Pierce Brosnan, Jackie Chan, and Hulk Hogan as possible additions of the Expendables 4 cast.
And last but not the least Sylvester Stallone has not ruled out the possibility of Justin Bieber joining the Expendables 4 cast.
