"The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers reveal that Alicia might find herself a new friend in Connie Nielsen's Ramona, as she continues to deal with Will's death.
According to TVLine, which dished "The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers, Connie Nielsen, following her surprising turn as a serial killer in "The Following," will join the show as Ramona.
She is described as "a smart, beautiful attorney with far-reaching Cook County connections." Her debut appearance will be in episode 4.
Earlier "The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers reported by Deadline, Steven Pascuale is added to the cast for two episodes to play Elfman, who is described as one of the top campaign managers in the country.
He is hired by Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) in trying to persuade Alicia into challengingJames Castro (Michael Cerveris) for the state attorney seat.
They will both join Taye Diggs who was announced to have joined the show last month.
E! News revealed "The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers when it reported that Taye Digg will appear for "multiple episodes" as Dean Levine-Wilkins, an equity partner at Lockhard/Gardner who was described as "meticulous" and "talented."
His character will join Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) at the firm run by Alicia (Juliana Marguiles) and Cary (Matt Czuchry).
In a statement by showrunners Robert and Michelle King, they said: "We couldn't be more excited to have Taye on the show. We've been huge fans for years, and love his ability to play comedy and drama with equal ease."
Carrie Preston, meanwhile, told PopSugar that the death of Will (Josh Charles) will present a "great obstacle" for Alicia, but it will allow her character to grow more.
"I think it was a blessing in disguise. We all know higher stakes when watching the show, because we know emotionally what she's going through and what she's having to accept," she said. "And now it's just going to make for stronger storylines. More interesting things for Julianna [Margulies] to play."
