Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs and release date: Samsung's phone and tablet hybrid will allegedly be launched at the September 3 Unpacked event. However, according to Value Walk, an Indonesian online retailer leaks that Samsung's phablet will cost $813 and will boast of 4GB RAM.
Reportedly, the Indonesian website, Erafone, describes the Galaxy Note 4 in full detail. The handset listed on Erafone's product page claims a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 2,560×1,440 resolution, 4GB RAM and 16-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization. The device will have internal storage options of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. If users want more storage, you can add a microSD with a capacity of as much as 128GB.
According to Value Walk, Erafone lists its price at 9,499,000 Indonesian rupiah which is equivalent to $813. This information regarding the price is not yet an official announcement from Samsung.
Previous reports suggest that the Galaxy Note 4 will come in two variants. Onewill have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset with 2.5GHz clock speed. Another version will feature an octa-core Exynos 5433 processor. Other features of the Galaxy Note 4 include latest Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Android KitKat 4.4.3.
According to GSM Arena, an image of the device was leaked online. The front might be similar to the current Note 3 while the back and sides look new. The phone appears to retain the plastic back with leather-like texture but the sides look similar to the ones on the yet-unannounced Samsung Galaxy Alpha and appear metal.
Reportedly, a plastic-like inlay in the side-frame that seems to add more water to the frame being metal rumors is found. The S Pen holder is fixed into the side of the phone and there's a microUSB 3.0 port at the bottom along with a speaker grille.
Speculations about an iris scanner to be included in this phablet have recently created buzzes online. Samsung Exynos Twitter account teases that the iris scanner might be introduced in the upcoming phablet.
Value Walk noted that Samsung will hold its Unpacked Event Episode 2 simultaneously in Berlin, Beijing and New York this September.
