Chloe Grace Moretz is quickly developing into a bone fide movie star. In fact, for this year alone, Chloe Grace Moretz stars in six movies. It looks like her fans have a lot to look forward to this year.
The 17-year-old budding celebrity was just in Toronto earlier this summer in order to promote her latest movie, "If I Stay." She will reportedly be back in Toronto this September so that she could plug another movie with Denzel Washington, "The Equalizer," at TIFF.
In "If I Stay," Chloe Grace Moretz plays the character of Mia Hall who is an accomplished young cellist. Her character loves music, her family, and her boyfriend. However, a car accident happens and changes everything. She then slips into a coma and hovers between life and death. She has to decide whether or not she would like to continue life with the massive changes that have been applied to her life.
Chloe Grace Moretz is refreshingly straightforward about what her newfound stardom means when it comes to real life. She discussed about becoming famous and said, "It's kind of shocking sometimes. Honestly, it was shocking and confusing, and it still is."
She then added, "Slowly but surely, every big thing I go to, to present awards, every time a bigger and bigger crows starts to know me. I have a million followers on Twitter. Something happened, I don't know what, but it just started. People started to notice me, to want pictures with me, to know who I was dating. It's kind of mind-boggling."
Despite being the rising star that she is, Chloe Grace Moretz has remained down-to-earth. She even referred to herself as a "little girl from Georgia" and a bit of an introvert. She said, "I'm a good actor, but I'm not that special."
Chloe Grace Moretz is the youngest among five children. Plus, she is the only girl among her siblings, as she has four older brothers. Also, she mentioned that there was a lot of talent in their household. She said, "They were good at football or at singing or something else, you know what I mean? I do what I do, but don't call me special. I don't save any lives here!"
Asked whether her brothers are overprotective regarding her lovelife, she said, "They let me do my stuff but when the going gets tough, they are always there for me."
