Did Joseph Morgan tease fans to some 'The Originals' season 2 spoilers on Twitter?
Morgan, who plays the original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson in the CW series, revealed some details about an upcoming scene for the show's sophomore year.
The actor told his 1.6 million followers, "Today I rehearsed a fight with a very dangerous being ;)"
When someone asked if the "dangerous being" he was talking about was stronger than him, the original vamp cheekily replied, "oh I didn't say that now did I ;)."
He followed up the series of tweets with another thought-provoking post, tweeting, "It's going to be a long and violent night ;) #theOriginals."
Speculations have come up that Klaus might just be shooting this scene with Mikael. Will he be facing off with his father as early as season two's premiere episode?
According to The Examiner, the timing of Morgan's tweets indicates the fight scene would be for the fifth or sixth episode.
Enstars also speculates that Morgan's rehearsal might indeed be with Sebastian Roche, who plays the Mikaelson patriarch. With the recent revelations of new characters on the show, however, Klaus could also be facing an entirely new threat.
Various 'The Originals' season 2 spoiler reports mention an onslaught of new characters to appear on the show, including cunning witches and dangerous werewolves.
So far, the roster includes at least two new witches in town, Kaleb and Lenore (Sonja Sohn), who is rumoured to be the ultimate baddie in the new season. There's also a new, respected werewolf in New Orleans. Aidan will be played by Colin Woodell and he will reportedly be hell-bent on keeping his family safe. He doesn't have qualms about killing vampires either.
Of course, who could forget Klaus' mother, Esther, who came back through one of the Harvest Girls.
