What can fans expect in "Thor 3?"

According to "Thor 3" spoilers on Movie Pilot, Asgard could come to an end as a part of the "apocalyptic comic book story of Ragnarok."

Movieweb mentions an interview Chris Hemsworth gave wherein he mentions an apocalypse happening, which fans connect to the Ragnarok.

"With the Avengers, we made it difficult to separate them each time there's some sort of conflict. It's like, where's the rest of the team? I liked that Thor has another universe to take care of and keep him occupied. I think that in the comic book, the sort of end of days, Armageddon aspect is probably the direction in which it will all head in. Where it's sort of the end of all things. There's obviously no script or anything. When I read the comic books, I thought it was an interesting way to go."

In a different interview, Tom Hiddleston might have slipped a few times mentioning the Ragnarok and Loki's wife Sigyn:

"I think there are very interesting things that happen. In the mythology, when you get into Ragnarok, which is the 'end of all things', it's not the end of the world...It's the end of time, and the universe, and space."

"In the myth, he has a wife called Sigyn who protects him from a poison serpent who is dripping venom into his mouth. And she has a bowl over his mouth and of course the bowl keeps filling up and she has to empty it, and so his damnation could be interesting."

Meanwhile, new "Thor 3" spoilers suggest that super villain Thanos might take advantage of the Ragnarok storyline to get the Infinity Gauntlet that is in Odin's possession.

As Comic Book Movie put it, "Thanos employs Loki to get the Tesseract from Earth in exchange for Loki ruling Earth. WRONG! Thanos used Earth and Loki as a scapegoat for his real target. Asgard. Loki and the Tesseract are now on Asgard. As far as the universe is concerned, Loki's dead. But we know he's impersonating none other than Odin the All-Father," the site said.

"Thanos would've come to kill Loki if he'd failed, so evidently, Loki didn't fail. Thanos also probably wanted Earth to be taken over as well, but each step of this plan is a win/win for Thanos, really. If Loki had taken Earth, Thanos has a whole planet of slave labourers. Loki didn't conquer Earth, ends up impersonating Odin instead. So, Loki never really failed Thanos at all. He just completed Phase One."

If these speculations were true, fans are guaranteed to see the Avengers face off with Thanos in an epic battle in "Avengers 3."
