Rob Zombie turns to crowdfunding to help bring his new Killer Clown movie creation '31' to the big screen.

According to Cnet, the "House of 1000 Corpses" writer and producer launched his campaign entitled "RZ-31"on the FanBacked.com website. Working the promo via the platform is Rob Zombie's way of raising the amount he needed to bring his new Killer Clown movie creation "31" to life. The movie is a fast-paced horrific thriller that does not scrimp on the scares to deliver that distinct horror the metal rocker-cum-director is known for.

The RZ-31 crowdfunding campaign offers many different kinds of prizes to interested supporters. Rolling Stone reported that Rob Zombie is giving away a variety of better quality perks. Among these are autographed posters, an opportunity to have Rob Zombie as a follower on Twitter, featuring the winner's name in the Killer Clown movie credits and a chance to play an extra in his "31" film.

Cnet has provided a more detailed list of the perks including their prices. A $15 dollar contribution will earn supporters a keychain or sticker. Crew T-Shirts are up for grabs with a $50 contribution. For supporters who want their name in the credits, they must shell out $750, while those who want to be an extra should donate $5,000.

Rob Zombie movie fanatics who have long dreamed of getting an executive producer credit gets their chance by donating $10,000. If they want one of the original crosses in the director's "House of 1000 Corpses" flick, they can have one with a contribution of $1,500. A $2,000 support will earn them an original Michael Meyer's "Halloween" mask. Interested fans have until the end of September to give their contributions.

The plot of the movie, as relayed by Rolling Stone, revolves around five unfortunate individuals who were abducted in five days prior to Halloween. They are forced to fight for their lives by playing a nasty game called "31" in a cryptic venue identified as Murder World.

The games rules is simple: kill or be killed. However, they have to succeed in doing this within a span of 12 hours - and their adversaries is a team of horrible, despicable clowns identified as "the heads."
