"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" has been set to be out by 2017. However, James Gunn has hinted that the fans of the beautifully groomed Spartax ruler J'son will not be part of the upcoming sequel.

Gunn said during an interview with Empire that he has something else planned with regards to the identity of Peter Quill's father. He said, "There have been a lot of documents passed around about who Peter Quill's father is between a select two or three of us. That's been part of the plan since the beginning, that's something I had to work out before we shot the screen play. We wanted to make sure Yondu's place in everything made sense and it does. So, it's all very specific stuff. It's definitely not the character who it is in the comics, I'll say that much."

Still, there are quite a few things that fans have been informed regarding Daddy Quill based on the details provided in the current blockbuster "Guardians of the Galaxy." Quill's mother referred to him as an "angel," he had a deal with the Ravagers to kidnap Peter back in 1988, his genetic code is not familiar with the Nova Corps, and he is a bit of a jerk. These details are hints on how Star-Lord's father will be portrayed in the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" blockbuster.

The Awesome Mixtape Vol. 1 is the soundtrack to the biggest blockbuster of this summer, "Guardians of the Galaxy." It featured a wide variety of amazing songs that were popularized back in the 70s, such as David Bowie's "Moonage Daydream" and Blue Suede's "Hooked on a Feeling." These songs fit quite perfectly the world that Gunn has purposely created for this space epic.

Fans have come up with their own song wish lists for "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." The requested songs included "Hotel California" by The Eagles, Stevie Wonder's "Superstition", and many more.
