Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date Specs Rumors: When the Samsung Galaxy S5 was released at the MWC 2014, it made quite a buzz because it was supposed to rival an impending release of the iPhone 6, and the HTC One M8, another top-notch smartphone in this class.

But the South Korean tech giant Samsung is now ready to release the Samsung Galaxy S6 version of its new flagship early next year, which could beat the rush for the iPhone 6 if it is delayed to March 2015 as some reports have published online. On the other hand, a MWC 2015 launch is not what fans are expecting and Samsung might withhold the release till after Q1 2015.

Analysts believe that the release of the Samsung Galaxy S6 will enhance the features and specs of its predecessors, hence 'exceeding consumer expectations.' According to many Samsung watchers, the Galaxy S5 is already a great smartphone and the Samsung Galaxy S6 can only be a further improvement in specs. Meanwhile, the ongoing delays with iPhone 6 and an explosion at one of its factories in China has left possible question-marks for an actual date of release for the hotly anticipated Apple iPhone 6.

Valuwalk.com reported, "Samsung might have felt the pressure to ensure that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be able to impress its fans and perform better in the market compared with its recently unveiled predecessor."

Sources told Tech Radar, "the Samsung Galaxy S6 might come out with more powerful processors. The soon-to-be-released device might have either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 or 810. The Snapdragon 808 is a six-core 64-bit processor with support for 2K screens, and the Snapdragon 810 is an octa-core 64-bit chip which can power screens of up to 4K resolution. It also includes an Adreno 430 GPU, which is said to be 30% faster than the Adreno 420.".
