- Bill Irwin - Bill used to be among the cast of "Lights Out." The actor and comedian was reported by USA Today to have met Robin Williams in the set of "Popeye" back in 1980 in Malta. He commented that Robin was the kind of person who easily got chummy with people while maintaining his own privacy at the same time. - Holt McCallany - He and Bill used to work together in "Lights Out." The actor who is also a writer and producer was reported by HoltMcCallany to be working with Liam Neeson in NewYork City for "Run All Night." In "Blue Bloods," he takes on the role of Robert McCoy. What makes his character on the drama series interesting is his purported links to the Erin courtroom as the interim District Attorney. Fans have yet to find out how he figures out into the events that will unfold in the police procedural drama.
- La Tanya Richardson Jackson - The other half of Samuel Jackson (info from IMDB), La Tanya will be playing the role of a squad commander. Last May, as reported by New York Times, the actress and producer received a nomination for her role as Lena Younger for the Broadway play entitled "A Raisin in the Sun."
