Stephenie Meyer to be a film producer again.

Twilight author Stephenie Meyer will be having a next film project at Lionsgate, but this time it is a horror according to Hitflix.

According to the source, the studio's next project is "Down a Dark Hall," which is a film adaptation of the 1974 Lois Duncan novel. Last Wednesday announcement, it was revealed that Stephenie Meyer will be the producer of the film adaptation.

The book version focuses on the protagonist Kit Gordy. Describing the plot, the post on Hitflix reads:

"The book centers on teenage protagonist Kit Gordy as she enters the exclusive Blackwood Boarding School, only to come up against supernatural forces within its walls that could ultimately destroy her."

The director for this film adaptation to be produced by Stephenie Meyer will be Rodrigo Cortés ("Red Lights").

Film producing credits of Stephenie are "Twilight" installments and "The Host."

"The Host," which was released last March, reportedly had a poor box office. soar high in box office sales and garnered "withering reviews."

Meanwhile, the author of the upcoming film adaptation of Lionsgate is also the author of the popular 1997 teen-horror hit "I Know What You Did Last Summer" starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe.

As of the moment, no details have been revealed yet about the release of upcoming Stephenie Mayer-produced "Down A Dark Hall" movie.
