Disney has just announced recently that it is now gearing up for more Frozen projects and products. The latest spin-off from the hugely successful animated film, whose main characters were voiced by Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell, is a Disney on ice Frozen Ice Show Tour!

The tour will skating off starting in September, according to Disney, and the first leg will take place in Orlando, Florida. There will be some 39 performers in all, that will be bringing the story of Queen Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven, plus the loveable trolls, into full ice-skating life. The Frozen Ice Tour show is of course, a natural spin off of the movie, which is set in the fictional kingdom of Arendelle, and features an icy landscape for most of its storyline.

According to Feld Entertainment Incorporated, there are blizzards to be expected, a stage built to resemble a snowflake, and video presentations that will give the backdrop of Arendelle and the North Mountain. The show will of course feature the famous songs from the movie, including hits like "Let it Go," "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" and "Fixer Upper."

"In our more than 30 years of producing Disney On Ice shows, Feld Entertainment has been waiting for a film like this," says producer Nicole Feld. "While it might seem obvious that 'Frozen' is well suited for the ice, this Disney On Ice production will touch audiences emotionally through innovative show elements and world-class skating."

Meanwhile, the directors of the animated version of Frozen are equally excited for its Disney On Ice version. "Seeing audiences around the world embrace 'Frozen' has been the experience of a lifetime. And to now have the chance to consult with the talented team at Feld Entertainment and watch their creation come to life on ice, is thrilling." Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee said. And although the show starts in September, the Frozen Ice Tour show tickets are sold already, so grab them now!
