Seven Deadly Sins anime adaptation starts October!
The Seven Deadly Sins Manga was announced to be adapted as TV anime last April 11. 2014 at AnimeNewsNetwork. The source also mentioned that that this manga series garnered 3 million copies in circulation.

CrunchyRoll reported that anime staff and casts were already listed. They reported that Tensai Okamura (Darker than Black, Blue Exorcist) will direct the A-1 Pictures (Blue Exorcist, Magi, Sword Art Online) production.
Furthermore, Shotaro Suga (Darker than Black, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) will work on series composition with Keigo Sasaki (Blue Exorcist), assigned also on character design and overseeing animation direction. Hiroyuki Sawano (Blue Exorcist, Attack on Titan, Kill La Kill) will be the one to provide the music.
Casts announced were Yuuki Kaji as Meliodas, Sora Amamiya as Elizabeth and Misaki Kuno as Hawk.

"The "Seven Deadly Sins," a group of evil knights who conspired to overthrow the kingdom of Britannia, were said to have been eradicated by the Holy Knights, although some claim that they still live. Ten years later, the Holy Knights have staged a Coup d'état and assassinated the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. Elizabeth, the king's only daughter, sets out on a journey to find the "Seven Deadly Sins," and to enlist their help in taking back the kingdom."
Crunchy Roll also mentioned that the upcoming anime adapatation will be in October. However, no exact date yet has been confirmed for the launching of Seven Deadly Sins anime.
