We have seen all sorts of crazy stuff on James Franco's Instagram so it isn't surprising if he joins the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The 36-year old actor is someone who would never back out of any challenge or a dare. Even when it comes to movies, he is someone who is comfortable doing daring roles like portraying a teacher who got romantically linked to his underage student in "Palo Alto" and doing a gay role in "Michael".
The ALS Ice Bucket craze has invaded Hollywood and you can see famous superstars challenging their colleagues. Selena Gomez nominated James Franco to do the Ice Bucket Challenge and the actor posted a photo of a girl with a big booty with his head photoshopped on it to make it appear it was his booty.
He captioned the hilarious image "Ice Bucket challenge is coming!!!!!!!! @selenagomez @nikkimenaj" Apart from Selena, the selfie king tagged an Instagram user that has no posts but the name is close to Nicki Minaj. Maybe he was mocking Nicki's booty challenge given to her by Kathy Griffin. The comedian told AP, "Of course, everyone's talking about that 'Anaconda' video and it's fantastic. It's a lot of boo-tay and I would like to challenge Nicki to a boo-tay-off."
James Franco's Instagram followers got excited when the actor accepted the challenge and the result was epic! The "Spring Breakers" star wore a Moby Dick shirt and covered his thing with a yellow paper with what appears to be the names of celebrities that he challenged.
The controversial actor started out thanking Selena Gomez for nominating him, but the camera panned down and he started grinding after the water was poured all over him. It was really funny! He posted the video on Instagram and wrote, "#ICEBUCKETCHALLENGE!!!! Thank you @selenagomez for nominating me!!!! I nominate: @zackbraff @joeyking @keeganallen You have 24 hours!!"
After a few days, he posted a photo of himself taken from his ALS Ice Bucket Challenge clip. He wrote, "Have a good day! Life is crazy, but it's also good. Especially if you love something and/or someone." Is James Franco in love right now and could it be with Lana Del Rey?
