MIC.com said that Kristen Wigg and Bill Hader had been seen as partner for Saturday Night Live alums for slapstick comedies. This time, they will star for a comedy movie called "The Skeleton Twins" that will hit theaters on September 12!
TheConversation.com described this movie as "a dark comedy about mental illness" as the story revolves on twins Maggie and Milo who both cheat death on the same day, that leads both to reunite and face how their lives went wrong. When they reunited and started a daily life together, soon, they realize that the key to fixing their lives is to fix their relationship with each other.
According to the same source, there are rumors spreading over online that Anna Faris should be getting the lead role. They also spoiled that there will be very bittersweet moments and some scenes are difficult to watch.
This comedy film got positive reviews including one from TVNZ.co.nz. by Darren Bevan, a writer of the said website. He mentioned in his article that the "director Luke Johnson drives the film well".
He also added that the director was able to juggle a sensitive line between dark and funny side of the story. The writer also mentioned the sad part of the movie.

Meanwhile in New Zealand, Listener.co.nz announced that they will give double pass to Skeleton Twins! New Zealand Listener is a weekly current affairs and entertainment magazine.
