It's the time of the year to size up fashion on the red carpet of 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. In the annual event, the celebrities came in droves, while some nailed it, others missed the spot. Let's begin with the best dressed. It was a perfect ten for the woman of the night; Beyonce came in looking fabulous in a black-lace gown by Nicolas Jebran.
Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez scored high marks, both chose metallic numbers. JLo wore a shimmering Charbel Zoe number which showed every bit part of the diva's body. Iggy opted for body-hugging Versace gown. For the best cleavage-baring ensemble award is Demi Lovato. She went down the red carpet in a flaming red, high slit and low neck Lanvin number. For the best pantsuits of the night, Solange Knowles was able to pull it off. H&M Studio Collection made her glittering tuxedo-style getup paired it with blue nails and orange eye lashes.
As for the least favorites, Katy Perry made it to the top list; she was wearing the same infamous outfit of Britney Spears during the 2001 VMA. Her props made it worst, more studs, a choker and more denim.
Next is Taylor Swift's outfit, she wore a long-sleeved body suit with a bouquet of letters all over it, although, it was unique, but the crowd was expecting her typical feminine and shimmering dresses.
The out of the box and applaud getup of Charli XCX is next, her single-sleeved garb was like Tony the Tiger-esque. The pantsuit and Louis Vuitton combo of Chloe Grace Moretz was out of place in the VMA red carpet, though she looks really pretty. Amber Roses' almost-naked outfit definitely won the most jaw dropping gown, she may not fit in the best dress but she can't be in the worst dressed. The outfit has the league of its own.
