With fans clamouring for 'The Originals' season 2 spoilers, many have been appreciating Joseph Morgan's teasing tweets about the show's filming progress recently.
Morgan, who plays original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson, hinted at some hardcore fight scenes with his post in Twitter last Friday.
"Long night kicking arse #The Originals," the newly married actor teased. He married is former 'Vampire Diaries' co-star Persia White in an intimate ceremony last month, spending some time away from Twitter for the wedding and honeymoon.
Director Jeffery Hunt has also been keeping fans updated of the show's work, late night or otherwise.
Hunt posted a photo of himself, Joseph Morgan (in character as the vicious Klaus) and Sebastian Roche (who plays Mikael, Klaus' onscreen father and hunter). He captioned the Instagram post, "Last night all nighter team #theoriginals ep204."
One of the series' writers, Declan de Barra, also offered his share of 'The Originals' season 2 spoilers and it looks like there will be more carnage on the set this season.
"Today is all about flying bodies, flying fists, and flying claret. #TheOriginals," he said in his tweet, which was also retweeted by Morgan.
He went on to tease, "Stunt People, the brotherhood and sisterhood of calculated lunacy #TheOriginals."
This tweet alluded to a report of the show's filming with a 20-man stunt team back in June.
In an interview with Buddy TV, Morgan describes this season's Klaus as "kind of like a caged animal." With baby Hope gone, he will become a more violent vampire "who's jumping at the bit to get revenge at those who wronged him."
These intense fight scenes, Klaus' darker disposition, and more "flying fists" can be seen in the new season of 'The Originals' premiering on October 6, 8PM on the CW.
