The Brittany Murphy biopic has released its official trailer, said a report from In Touch. Entitled "The Brittany Murphy Story", fans wonder if the Lifetime drama will tackle allegations linking the late actress' parents to their own daughter's death.

The Brittany Murphy biopic will document the story of the actress, who rose to fame after starring in the 90s teen classic "Clueless" alongside Alicia Silverstone and Stacey Dash.

The first part of the trailer showed clips of the dreamy-eyed star celebrating her success in Hollywood. However, the latter part of the teaser showed a troubled Brittany Murphy, with visuals of drugs, depression, and paranoia.

Brittany Murphy's other movies include "Girl, Interrupted" and "8 Mile".

Aside from how talented actress made her break in Hollywood, the Brittany Murphy biopic is expected to shed more light on her tragic death in 2009 at the age of 32.

The Brittany Murphy biopic will feature 29-year-old actress Amanda Fuller as Brittany Murph. Television veteran Sherylin Fenn will play the late star's mother Sharon Murphy.

The Lifetime drama is set to air this September.

Following the announcement of the Brittany Murphy biopic, allegations have resurfaced linking the late actress' parents to the death.

According to another report by In Touch magazine, Brittany Murphy's father, Angelo Bertolotti, has suggested that his ex-wife, Sharon Murphy, killed their own daughter.

"Sharon Murphy should be interviewed and investigated, first and foremost," he responded after being asked about the investigations of Brittany Murphy death news and her husband, Simon Monjack.

According to a Daily Mail report, the death of Brittany Murphy was ruled to have been caused by pneumonia and other complications. Her husband died of similar causes just five months later.

The distraught father pointed out that there are still many unanswered questions that have to be addressed about the death of both Brittany Murphy and her husband. "Out of three people living together in the same house, only one survives and benefits financially," he taunted.

When Angelo Bertolotti was asked if he suspects Sharon Murphy of being involved in the untimely deaths of Brittany and Simon, he responded: "Yes, I do."

Sharon Murphy has denied all allegations in a report from The Hollywood Reporter: "I have chosen to stay out of the limelight since the tragic and sudden death of my wonderful, talented, loving daughter."

The 61-year-old mother said: "I have no choice now but to come forward in the face of inexcusable efforts to smear my daughter's memory by a man who may be her biological father, but was never a real father to her in her lifetime."

Most recent lab reports from Brittany Murphy's death allegedly suggest the actress may have been poisoned.

Pathologist Dr. Richard Shepherd has revealed that Brittany Murphy's death could have been avoided if Sharon Murphy called an ambulance 24 hours earlier, the In Touch report said.

"By the time Brittany collapsed in her bathroom there was probably nothing the paramedics or hospital staff could have done to save her," the doctor explained. "But had she been taken to the hospital 24 hours earlier and given intravenous drugs, there is a very good chance she would have survived and would still be here today."
