"Jersey Shore" cast news was recently revealed confirmation of the breakup of couple Ronnie Magro and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola.
According to a report from NY Daily News, one of the couples in the hit MTV series "Jersey Shore" cast have called it quits. Ronnie Magro said the split, which apparently took place over two months ago, was because he and Sammi Giancola were "drifting apart."
The breakup was confirmed when Ronnie Magro attended the premiere of the movie "Jersey Shore Massacre". The said film stars "Jersey Shore" cast and new mom Jenni "JWoww" Farley.
Ronnie Magro told NY Daily News, "We were drifting apart and not really spending any time together."
The "Jersey Shore" cast admits that he still cares about Sammi Giancola. "She's a great girl, but we were growing distant. It was for the best," Ronnie Magro said.
Sammi Giancola has also spoken to E!News about the breakup.
"At this time, Ronnie and I have gone our separate ways. I wish him nothing but the best," said the brunette "Jersey Shore" cast member.
"Right now, I'm focused on myself," Sammi Giancola added.
Ronnie Magro And Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola started going out after being part of the "Jersey Shore" cast in 2009. The couple is notorious for their on-again, off-again relationship that was documented throughout the hit MTV reality show for six seasons.
While the two ended up parting ways, another couple from the "Jersey Shore" cast continues to grow strong. "Snooki & JWOWW" star Jenni Farley aka JWoww welcomed daughter Meilani Alexandra Mathews with fiance Roger Mathews last July 13.
According to a report from ABC, Roger Mathews was first to announce the arrival of "Jersey Shore" cast JWoww's baby by tweeting: "She is here! Meilani Alexandra Mathews 7lbs 13 ounces. Words can't describe what looking into your child's eyes can do to you. I'm Humbled".
JWoww and Roger Matthews admit that they are still coping with their new roles as Meilani's parents, admitting they are "a bit" sleep deprived. In spite of this, the former "Jersey Shore" star JWoww says she's "never been more content," and that "having Meilani really changed my life in the best possible way".
