When is "The Musketeers" Season 2 air date?
With its first season ended on Sunday, BBC America has announced the renewal of the series. In fact, this has been made even before season one has started. But the fans are already asking when. Epoch Time wrote the premiere date will be on 2015 - same time as the first season.
Filming of the second season has begun since June. But since it is definite that it will be shown at 9 pm, series creator Adrian Hodges told Mirror that "we have pushed it harder for this audience". Viewers can expect the show to be sexier and full of action then.
The return of "The Musketeers", however, will be without Peter Capaldi. He can no longer play the role of the wicked Cardinal Richelieu as he will star in the show "Doctor Who". Tom Burke, who plays Athos, confirmed this to RadioTimes.com. "People are now very excited about the next villain will be so that's going to bring a new energy. Hopefully he'll be as good as Peter was."
Knowing "The Musketeers" Season 2 air date is as exciting as knowing who will get Peter's role.
About the show: BBC America wrote, "The Musketeers", is set on the streets of 17th century Paris, where law and order is an idea more than a reality. In addition to being King Louis XIII's personal bodyguards, Athos, Aramis, and Porthos stand resolutely for social justice, honor, valor, love - and for the thrill of it. Luke Pasqualino ("Skins", "The Borgias") stars as D'Artagnan alongside Tom Burke ("Great Expectations", "The Hour") as Athos, Santiago Cabrera ("Merlin", "Heroes") as Aramis and Howard Charles ("Royal Shakespeare Company") as Porthos. Peter Capaldi ("Doctor Who", "The Hour", "The Thick Of It"), Maimie McCoy ("Loving Miss Hatto"), Tamla Kari ("Cuckoo", "The Inbetweeners Movie") and Hugo Speer ("Bedlam") also star in the 10-part series.
