However, a recent report from Daily Mail escalates the dating allegations with photos showing the Young Money power couple holding hands, hugging, and wearing matching shoes.
Photos of the two were taken in Philadelphia over the weekend showing them hand-in-hand while walking down a sidewalk. The "Mr. Wayne" rapper had his arm hooked around the neck of the "AM to PM" songstress. Weezey's dangled hand was held tightly by Christina Milian, who had a demure smile on her face.
Christina Milian and Lil Wayne themselves fueled dating speculations with matching footwear, as they both wore red trainers.
The two were seen throughout the night laughing and looking very comfortable with each other.
Global Grind also reported that the rumored couple might have indirectly announced their relationship during a night out at L.A.'s premiere hotspot Supperclub. During the said night out, Lil Wayne got on the mic and gave a shout-out to his "baby".
According to Daily Mail, Christina Milian and Lil Wayne have remained mum about the real status of their relationship, in spite of numerous public appearances showing them looking cozy together.
The two still claim that they are just work colleagues who "make music together", since Christina Milian signed on to be part of Young Money, the music team that Lil Wayne is CEO of.
However, Lil Wayne and Christina Milian dating rumors are just being laughed off by the songstress' ex-husband, The Dream. The R&B crooner was married to Christina Milian and is the father of the singer's 4-year-old daughter, Violet.
The Dream revealed to Vlad TV that Lil Wayne and Christina Milian dating will be "strange" since it would create a very complicated love rectangle: The-Dream's first wife, singer Nivea, whom he married prior to Christina Milian and has three kids with, also shares a child with Lil Wayne.
"I think that's what everybody was thinking when the news broke," The Dream said regarding the twist.
"Everybody was thinking of that, but supposedly Christina, she wasn't thinking of that at all. I have no idea how she could not be thinking of that," he said.
