He may be busy with his US tour but Austin Mahone's debut album is still on the 18-year-old singer's mind. In fact, it's on several other people's minds.

Fans of the Texan hearththrob-called Mahomies-have been clamouring for news about his first full length album.

In a recent interview with Fuse TV, the 'Mmm Yeah' singer assured his fans that he is indeed working on his first album, although he's somewhat taking things a bit slow right now.

"It's a lot of hard work and everything's slow but eventually you'll get there," the newly-legal teenager told Fuse in an interview. Right now I'm just putting out songs and I'm touring and I just think the more years to come the bigger [my music] is going to be."

He had already given Mahomies a peek into his "bigger" music with the EP, 'The Secret,' which was released in May. It went straight to number one on iTunes right away. His work with Pitbull on 'Mmm Yeah,' also showcased his promise as a talented singer and he praised his collaborator for the song.

"He kind of just took me under his wing," Mahone said of Pitbull. "He's really, really smart, very talented."

Austin Mahone's new album features works from producer Max Martin, who is known for working with four-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift, and "a bunch of different talented people."

"I think my first album is going to be really, really amazing," he gushed.

As to when Mahomies can hear his new music, the 'All I Ever Need' singer revealed that the "real project" he'll be working on after the tour will be his music "when I make my first full-length album."

"I'm on tour with Fifth Harmony, The Vamps and Shawn Mendes and after I get off tour I'm going to go back to Miami and work on my first full-length album and put that out," the young musician told MTV during the Video Music Awards.

Having a tour before his first album is already an achievement in itself. However, Mahone doesn't plan on doing a second tour just yet.

"I don't have any plans for tour after this one, yet, but like I said, my main focus is just getting that album done and getting that out," he said. "I'm sure I'm going to do little shows here and there but that's pretty much the main focus right now."

With a promise of songs like 'Mmm Yeah,' would Austin Mahone's new album be worth the wait?
