Apple aficionados await the tech innovation giant's official announcement regarding iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 specs and release date.
Several rumors have already spread online about the iPhone 6's specs. The new iPhone will reportedly have an ultra-thin battery making it the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever made, and will have an 13MP upgrade on its camera.
However new reports suggest that the new iPhone will be equipped with the capability for wireless charging. The technology is not new as several Nokia, LG and HTC phones are already utilizing the feature as of writing.
And as if that feature won't do, another report claims that Apple is developing a unique battery life innovation that will enable the iPhone 6 to fully recharge in just 5 minutes. A Cult of Mac report offers more information.
But Apple users are asking when can they get their hands on the new iPhone?
Rumor has it that September 19 could finally be the iPhone 6's release date. According to Macworld: "If Apple follows the same pattern as last year the phone will be previewed at a event on 9 September, and available to buy on the 19 September."
"Indeed, according to reports, Apple is planning to hold an event on Tuesday 9 September at which it will launch the new iPhone 6. This report came from Re/Code, which is generally a good source of Apple rumours. So, Friday 19 September looks like the day to join the iPhone queue (unless you prefer to queue up for a week or so)," the article added.
KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo on the other hand predicted some notable iPad Air 2 specs might have. Aside from having major improvements on its speed and performance because of the Apple A8 processor, he also suggested that it will have Apple's fingerprint scanner technology called Touch ID which first debuted on the iPhone 5S.
Furthermore, leaked iPad Air 2 specs also claim that it will have a 2GB RAM. The bigger memory will enable the new tablet to perform multiple actions at once and is compatible with a split-screen function.
