Emma Stone's new hair style is short and sweet.

The Venice Film Festival previewed Emma Stone's new hair style on the red carpet, and as his her knack for spunky surprises, "The Amazing Spiderman" star pulled it off with class and an emerald gown.

Emma attended the Venice Film Festival for the preview of her movie "Birdman," with Michael Keaton in the lead role. The film is about an aging character actor and his struggle to hold on to his fifteen minutes of fame as a superhero.

The red carpet media caught sight of a slightly different Emma Stone, though. With shorter hair and a gown with a plunging neckline, her walk down the line was well documented.

The 25-year old actress was breathtaking in an emerald tulle gown by designer Valentino. The outfit flowed full-length, cleaved by a (deeply) plunging neckline, criss-crossed at the back. Emma's petit figure was accented by a knotted tie at the waist.

Emma Stone's new hair style has gone through plenty of changes, and one of her more memorable hairdos is her shoulder-length cut, brightly blond in "The Amazing Spiderman" and fiery red in "Easy A."

Emma took a page from the short trend and decided to have her locks cut for the event, though not as much as Kristen Stewart did with her pixie haircut.

Her makeup artist for the Red Carpet event decided to go for colors in bloom. "I played with all cool tones, using rich plums on her eyes, soft pink on her cheeks and a see through magenta stain on her lips,"

Her boyfriend is doing the exact opposite in style, though. "The Amazing Spiderman" lead chose to let his beard flow freely, as spotted in Italy on a visit in August 26. Emma Stone's new hair style should regrow back to her trademark auburn locks in a matter of weeks (source: usmagazine.com).
