Apollo Nida, husband of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks, has been ordered to report to federal prison on September 10, according to Radar Online.
According to court documents obtained by the entertainment website, Apollo Nida must surrender himself at the FMC Lexington prison in Lexington, Kentucky on the mentioned date at noon.
Phaedra Parks' husband originally faced up to 30 years in prison, but was sentenced to just eight years for fraud and identity theft back in July. He has also reportedly been ordered to pay nearly $2 million in restitution.
Apollo Nida reportedly made fake companies, giving him access to databases to find people to scam, according to the publication Celebdirtylaundry. He allegedly opened fake bank accounts under their real names, then moved stolen checks from U.S. Treasury and auto loan proceeds into those accounts.
Nida reportedly told Radar that he hopes his recent trouble with the law will be an example to young men, stating, "Don't do as I do, but take my experiences and hope that it will give you a better platform."
If Phaedra Parks stays married to Nida, she would reportedly have to share his liability and help pay roughly $100,000 a year. There have been rumors circulating that the RHOA star might divorce Nida.
It seems that Nida feels that his marriage is coming to an end as well. Nida reportedly slammed the RHOA star on Atlanta's B-100 radio station for not showing up to his prison sentencing.
"I mean my wife didn't even f**king show up to my sentencing. I'm still sality about that, but whatever," Nida stated.
