The k-drama remake of "The Three Musketeers" is off to a sword-brandishing start. Anyone who knows the Alexander Dumas novel that inspired the retelling may guess that its heavy on the bromance. But what's fun about the k-drama version is how appealing the bromance already is in the first episode.

Pitting CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa against actor Lee Jin Wook in a love triangle is tricky as both actors are very appealing male leads. Having to choose between their k-drama characters would be tough, even if a kingdom depended on it. Both characters are very likeable.

Jung Yong Hwa plays Park Dal Hyang, an idealistic adventurer who has dedicated his life to winning the woman he loves. Only he does not know that his love is already married to the Crown Prince and to even harbor feelings for her might be perceived as treason. Park Dal Hyang is highly skilled at everything he does and will use his mad skills to right any situation he perceives as unjust.

On the other hand, there's Lee Jin Wook playing Crown Prince So Hyun. For a prince, he is a pretty nice guy and given the situation the two quickly find themselves in, he has a very generous sense of humor. He likes Park Dal Hyang so much he is willing to overlook his possible treason.

Even in real life, choosing between these two men would be tough. Jung Yong Hwa is a talented musician and a very sympathetic actor, whom k-drama fans have idolized as the perfect second lead. That is Shin Woo in "You're Beautiful."

Lee Jin Wook is a talented actor, whose acting skills so impressively contributed to his recent drama "Nine: Nine Time Travels" that it is being adapted for American television. He is also so impressive that he managed to win the affections of two beautiful actresses. He previously dated Choi Ji Woo and now dates Gong Hyo Jin.

So it would be tough to choose between them. Fortunately, while Seo Hyun Jin, playing the Crown Princess, has already made her choice, viewers don't really have to.

It's obvious from the first episode that the relationship between the two men is what really matters in this drama.

If Park Dal Hyang becomes the Crown Prince's champion despite having been in love with his wife, that will provide some truly interesting bromance.

The prince has already demonstrated his approval and wishes Park Dal Hyang well. He even managed to smile when Park Dal Hyang caused a court disaster.
