Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart do Ice Bucket Challenge months after their messy breakup; but fans' hopes are dashed when they take on the dare separately.
It would've been nice if Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart do Ice Bucket Challenge as a couple, for old times' sake. Even Superman and Lois Lane recently did it together, though Henry Cavill and Amy Adams aren't exactly an item.
Pattinson took on the challenge from Zac Efron, but, unable to get his hands on a bucket, improvised with ice cubes and a hose instead. The "Twilight" actor dumped a pot of ice cubes on himself as someone sprayed him with water from a hose. Pattinson passed the challenge to Marilyn Manson, Mia Wasikowska, and Guy Ritchie.
Stewart's ALS ice bucket challenge was a bit on the extreme side. Joined by Scott Fahrendorf and Jennifer Lawrence's ex Nicholas Hoult, the three participated simultaneously, and went the extra mile. The trio dunked their heads in buckets of ice water for three seconds, then pouring it onto their heads. Fahrendorf and Hoult then took another bucket of ice water and proceeded to dump it over Stewart.
The Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Ice Bucket Challenge may be separate, but Kristen's dare sparks rumors of a dating relationship with Hoult. Jennifer Lawrence, Hoult's ex-girlfriend, is recently linked to Bradley Cooper and Coldplay front man Chris Martin.
Kristen confirms there's no bad blood between her and estranged ex Robert Pattinson, at least professionally. She comments on Robert's acting chops in a Vanity Fair interview.
"Everyone knows that you're better with other actors who are really present, who you are having the same experience with, but I am made or broken on it. If I'm working with someone who I'm not vibing with, or who I have to fake anything with, then it's sad for me and it's bad acting."
The Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Ice Bucket Challenge is but part of a long chain of celebrities who've participated in the ALS fundraiser.
