Dana White news reveals the UFC president's response to GQ Magazine. The company executive also affirmed that all fighters under his company's banner are paid "very well."

On Thursday, GQ Magazine released a list of the "Sleaziest Sports Figures In Sports", in which Dana White made the number eight spot. The high-profile men's magazine lambasted White for allegedly underpaying his fighters, as well as comparing him to infamous boxing promoter Don King.

"Turns out underpaying your UFC employees, bullying rivals, and generally impersonating Don King as a bald white guy doesn't do wonders for your charsima!" the magazine wrote about the UFC executive, and was reported by Bloody Elbow.

Dana White news has then revealed the UFC head honcho's response to the magazine through an interview with The Download, and was reported by MMA Mania. And in his usual manner of dealing with criticisms, White has not let it affect him in any way.

"You're never going to be able to stop what people say about you, and everybody isn't going to love you," White responded. "But I don't take offense to anything. When you're in a public position like this you're always going to have people say things about you."

"Believe me, if I worried about everything that was said about me, I would have been a mess a long time ago," he added. "That kind of stuff doesn't bother me at all, not even a little bit."

Dana White, along with his childhood friends Lorenzo and Frank Fertita of Zuffa LLC took over the reins of the UFC when it was in the brink of bankruptcy in 2001. Since then, mixed martial arts has been a household name worldwide, but amidst the overnight success came complaints from fighters themselves about improper compensation.

The company executive, however, dismissed the allegations and affirmed that his fighters are paid "very well."

"It was definitely written by someone who is uneducated about the sport. I'm sandwiched between War Machine and Lance Armstrong," he said about the Dana White news. "The thing that's unfortunate is that it's unfair for the UFC as a brand. UFC pays its fighters very well."
