After their Oscar nominated performance in David O. Russel's Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle, the Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper team up sure proves to a winning combination. Which is why it's not surprising then, that another one of Jennifer Lawrence' movies is again co-starring Bradley Cooper.

The new movie is called Serena, and it is based on the book with the same title written by author ROn Rash. Danish director Susanne Bier is at the helm of this move that follows the life of newlyweds Serena and George Pemberton in the 1920s. The couple is from New England, but had move to North Carolina to start a timber business.

A newly released photo of Jennifer Lawrence from this movie can be seen below, and we see JLaw mounted on a horse, seemingly surveying her vast track of land.

More details about this Jennifer Lawrence movie can be gleaned from the official plot synopsis, which reads: "Serena soon shows herself to be the equal of any man: overseeing crews, hunting rattle snakes, and even saving a man's life in the wilderness. Together, this king and queen rule their dominion, killing or vanquishing al who stand in the way of their ambitions. But when Serena learns that she can never bear a child, she sets out to murder the woman who bore George a son before his marriage."

Interesting little plot twist right there in this new Jennifer Lawrence movie. Is this the first time we will get to witness the Mockingjay star as a murdering villainess?

But tough luck to Jennifer Lawrence fans in the United States. According to ScreenRant, the movie does not have a release date yet, much less, a U.S. distributor. Serena does have plans to be released in the United Kingdom and France, but no word yet about its US release.

Stay tuned for a trailer and release date confirmation for Serena, the new, possibly Oscar-award winning Jennifer Lawrence movie.
