"Fifty Shades of Grey" movie news shocked fans with the report that the house of director Sam Taylor-Johnson was raided by the police and yielded a high-powered gun. In another development, cast Jamie Dornan bags yet another lead role.

In the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie news published by E! News, police on Thursday night reportedly found an M16 rifle inside her house. According to the report, authorities of the London Metropolitan Police were called at 20 minutes before midnight after seeing what could be a "firearm sitting on a desk by the window of property."

"Local officers and officers from Metropolitan police attended. The owner was not home at the time, a key holder was contacted and let police in the property. It was confirmed the firearm was a deactivated M16 rifle. No arrests were made," the police said.

According to E! News, the gun is actually is part of an art exhibit that the director is involved in.

It wasn't quite the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie news they were expecting, with the erotic film set to open to theaters on February 13, 2015 in time for Valentine's Day. The full trailer has already been released which only served to whet the appetite of excited fans as they see the dynamics between Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).

Meanwhile, "Fifty Shades of Grey" cast Jamie Dornan will headline the Miramax thriller "The 9th Life of Louis Drax," according to The Wrap.

Jamie Dornan will play Dr. Allan Pascal who will investigate the accident involving a nine-year-old boy and the circumstances that surround it. As a result, he will "uncover a story that tests the boundaries between fantasy and reality," the Belfast Telegraph reported.

The actor will also be involved in another action-packed film as reported by The Hollywood Reporter which reported that he will play Commandant Pat Quinlan in "The Siege of Jadotville."
